Every posting wants two years of experience you were never allowed to get. You have three hours left in the evening after work, and you have spent them wondering whether thirty six is too late to start something new.
It is not too late. But the way in is not the one everybody told you about.
The work
You check whether a company's systems do what the company says they do.
Who can get into the payroll system. Whether the backups actually run. Whether the change someone pushed on a Friday was ever approved. You test it, you write down what you found, and the company has to fix it.
It is process work with a technical surface. That is why people from outside tech can learn it in weeks instead of years, and why the ones who came from teaching, retail, nursing and accounts are often better at the asking-questions half of the job than the engineers are.

The question everyone asks
Will AI take this job?
Partly, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The World Economic Forum's 2025 jobs report lists accountants and auditors among the roles it expects to shrink, and the part it is talking about is the repetitive checklist work.
The other half of the picture is that ISACA, the body that certifies auditors, launched a whole new AI audit certification in 2025 because organizations are adopting AI faster than anyone can govern it. Someone has to test those systems. That work is new, and it is audit work.
So the honest answer is this: the clerical end of auditing is exposed, and the technical end is where the field is moving. This class teaches the technical end.

What else you could do
You have four other options. Here they are, fairly.
Study for the CISA on your own.
The exam is $575 for ISACA members and $760 if you are not one. Real credential, and the right move eventually. But it asks for five years of experience before it certifies you, and it does not teach you how to do the work or how to get hired.
A $30 course you watch alone.
The content is fine. Almost nobody finishes one. If self-paced worked for you, you would already be an IT auditor.
A $4,500 to $10,000 bootcamp.
Longer, far more expensive, and mostly aimed at people who already work in tech.

The format
Six sessions. Two hours each. Everyone live in the room.
Thursday and Friday evenings
7:00 to 9:00pm Central, every Thursday and Friday for three weeks. It is built to fit around a full time job.
On Google Meet, not a recording
Cameras on, questions out loud, the instructor answering yours specifically. Live is the entire point. There is no video library to fall behind on.
The last session is the job search
Your resume rewritten for IT audit, the interview answers, and a plan for the weeks after class ends. You leave with a next step, not a certificate, and the mentorship keeps going long after the last session.

Questions, answered
Asked by everyone who ends up enrolling.
Can I really do this while working full time?
Yes, and that is exactly who it was built for. Classes run at 7pm, and there are six sessions, not sixty. Two hours an evening, twice most weeks, for three weeks. If you can watch a movie after work, you can do this.
Do I need a tech degree? I do not have one.
You do not, and you are far from alone in that. Here is something worth knowing: ISACA takes two years off the CISA experience requirement for a bachelor’s degree in any field at all. Accounting, English, biology. This profession has never required a computer science degree.
Is three weeks really enough to learn this?
Enough to walk into an interview and hold your own, which is what this class promises and all it promises. You will know what IT general controls are, how an audit is planned and executed, how to talk about risk, and how to answer the questions you will actually be asked. You will not quite become an Audit Director at the end of the session, but you will be well-prepared and poised to kick off a long and rewarding career.
What happens after the three weeks?
The class ends. The support does not. Your $1,500 covers more than the six sessions: a full resume review, interview preparation before you go in, and a debrief afterward so the next one goes better. Once you are on the job, you still have someone to call when you run into something you have not seen before. And the career coaching does not expire. It is yours for life.
Will employers take me seriously with no experience?
They do, and here is why. Entry level IT audit is one of the few technical doors that opens without a technical resume, because the work is method and judgment sitting on top of technology. Our last session is built specifically to help you make that case, in your words, about your own background. After that we rewrite your resume together, prepare you for the interview, and go over how it went afterward so you get sharper every time.
How do I know this is not a scam?
Fair question, and honestly the right one to ask. Everything is out in the open before you pay a cent: the full syllabus is on this page, the dates and times are published, and payment runs through Wave, so no card details are ever stored on this site. You will also notice we never promise you a job, because nobody honest can. What you get is six live sessions, a resume review, interview prep and debriefs, and a mentor you can still call once you are on the job.

Life happens. Let us know before it does and we will make sure you get what you missed. That said, the class really is built around being in the room, and the people who attend all six are the ones who get the most out of it.
